Wings win 21st straight at The Joe to set a record

Will the Detroit Red Wings ever lose another game at home? On Tuesday they defeated the Dallas Stars, 3-1 to set an NHL record for the most consecutive victories on home ice, with 21. Coach Mike Babcock, who our own Tom Delisle pegs as the best coach in Detroit history, isn’t sure when they’ll lose at home again, he’s just proud of the effort put forth by his team.

“We’re proud of the consistency that our team is putting forward,” Babcock said after the victory Tuesday evening.

Here’s video of the final seconds of the historic victory.
