- 2008 On May 13, 2008, the Pistons defeat the Orlando Magic at the Palace of Auburn Hills, 91-86 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the sixth straight season. It’s the longest streak since the Los Angeles Lakers went to eight straight Western Conference Finals in the 1980s.
