- 2006 On May 21, 2006, Tiger reliever Todd Jones records his 155th save as a Tiger, breaking the franchise mark held by Mike Henneman. With Detroit clinging to a 1-0 lead over the Cincinnati Reds at Comerica Park, Jones hits the first batter to lead off the 9th inning, but retires the next three batters without incident to nail down the Tiger victory.
